Dear Horace users,

The latest release of Matlab, 2014b, includes some major changes to the way graphics are handled. It has come to our attention that as a result many of the Horace / Herbert plotting routines do not work properly with this Matlab version.

We therefore advise you that if you wish to continue using Horace you should use Matlab version 2014a or earlier.

We are working hard to fix this problem, and will make another announcement on this mailing list when the necessary changes to the Horace source code have been made and fully tested. Hopefully this will not take too long.

We thank you for your understanding in the meantime.

Regards,
Russell Ewings (on behalf of the Horace development team)
